After the Clint Eastwood chair stunt at the RNC, someone dared to imagine something. What if they were in charge of the Democratic National Convention and brought in Betty White as a "Mystery Quest Speaker"? And, in this person's mind, Betty would deliver a monologue spoofing Clint's weird skit! Well, the idea quickly turned into community Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr pages, and then the hashtag #BettyWhiteDNC was created. After creating and posting a few meme pics using the hashtag, the webpages began to explode. The person who imagined this and created the webpages and hashtags explained:

"We would love to see Betty at the DNC, but unlike the other convention, we would NOT want to see her appearance take away from the important message President Obama will deliver on the last night of the DNC. All media attention on Thursday night should focus on the President and his pitch to the American people. And, with that being said, keep spreading the word and let's get this classy woman at the Democratic National Convention this week!"

Needless to say, the idea went viral and that's about all there is to the story! But, there are some really funny comment and quote photos floating around the internet w/ the #BettyWhiteDNC hash tag. So, if you happen to run across one, just enjoy and have fun w/ it. I posted a few I found here, just for the heck of it!
