After the SBC Morning Worship Service, the Black History Ministry hosted their first Juneteenth Jubilee Soul Food Luncheon in the Hope Cafe. The menu was Baked & Fried Chicken; Cabbage, Collard Greens, and String Beans; Black-Eyed Peas & Rice, Macaroni & Cheese, Potato Salad, and Candied Yams; Chocolate, Lemon, Red Velvet, and Sweet Potato Cupcakes; Iced Tea and Lemonade. GOD definitely blessed the hands of everyone who prepared the meal because the food was awesome. And, once again, a special shout out and thank you to the ministry and leader, Bro. Leroy Payton, for hosting another excellent event celebrating Black culture and history!
