💗 Hope Has A New Home

I really enjoyed the Obama Presidential Center Grand Opening and Celebration via livestream, and it's definitely on my bucket list as a place I'd love to visit in the not too distant future. It is my understanding this new portrait of The Obamas was done by a Nigerian-born, Los Angeles-based painter named Njideka Akunyili Crosby. It is titled "The Obamas: Springing Forth," and it is the first official dual art portrait of the couple, which is located in the Hope and Change Lobby of the museum.
