πΊπΈ This Day in History
Taking a minute to acknowledge this event, which occurred 61 years ago today. Black history is American history. It cannot be rewritten and it won't go away because it is not mentioned or taught. It is what it is and truth crushed to the earth will still rise again while WE continue to rise, just like the Phoenix from the ashes. And, when we don't learn from history, we are doomed to repeat it--so, it should NEVER be forgotten because we are NOT going back. We will continue to move forward and we do NOT need anyone's approval to do it. Thank you Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. for sharing your dream for the future with America and the world on this day in 1963. We are grateful...
