Did you know that grandparents have a special annual day on the calendar too? This year, the date is Sunday, September 13th. Many people don't know about the existence of this day, so grandparents need to claim it and help spread the word. In this cycle we call life, most of us have grandparents, then we are eventually blessed to become grandparents. Tell your grown children about this day so they can encourage their children to honor you in some way. And, we should do the same, even if our grandparents are deceased. Put some flowers on their final resting place or at the very least--give them a shout out on social media, post a pic, and share a fond memory of them on September 13th. Save the date, pass it on, and don't forget to celebrate this day with your loved ones in the years to come!
