🕊 Farewell & Sleep Well...

Charles Robert Redford, Jr. (August 18, 1936 – September 16, 2025). I have seen him many times in movies and tv shows, but my earliest and favorite memory of him was when he ironically played "Death" in this Twilight Zone episode in 1962. It was before he became a big star and I was 3 years old when it originally aired--but I saw it later while I was growing up and beyond via reruns, and most recently a few months ago on Me-TV. He was trying to convince an elderly woman that her "time to go" was drawing near and to trust him. He assured her that she would be fine and death was nothing to be afraid of, but rather a new beginning. She ultimately went arm-in-arm with him into eternity. He was a great actor and I hope he had a peaceful transition as well. Condolences and prayers for family... #RIP
