🎓 The Senior Class (aka Baby Boomers)

* We were born in the 1940s, ‘50s, and ‘60s.
* We grew up in the 1950s, ‘60s, and ‘70s.
* We studied in the 1960s, ‘70s, and ‘80s.
* We were dating in the 1970s, ‘80s, and ‘90s.
* We got married and discovered the world in the 1970s, ‘80s, and ‘90s.
* We ventured into the 1980s and ‘90s.
* We stabilized in the 2000s.
* We got wiser in the 2010s.
* And, we are going firmly through and beyond the 2020s.
* We have lived through 8 different decades that spanned across 2 different centuries.
* We have gone from the telephone with an operator for long-distance calls to video calls to anywhere in the world.
* We have gone from slides to YouTube, vinyl records to downloading music, and handwritten letters to email.
* We have gone from live performances on the radio to black and white TV, color TV, and then 3D HD TV.
* We went to the video store and now we use streaming services.
* We got to know typewriters, keypunches, computers, floppy disks, flash drives, and now we have gigabytes and megabytes on our smartphones.
* We wore shorts as children and then long pants, bell bottoms, flares, designer jeans, and shell suits.
* We dodged infantile paralysis, polio, tuberculosis, meningitis, swine flu, and now COVID-19.
* We rode tricycles, bicycles, skates, mopeds, petrol and diesel cars, and now we drive electric and hybrid cars.
* Yes, we've been through a lot, but what a great life we've had!
* You could describe us as people that were born in the world of yesteryear who had an analog childhood and a digital adulthood.
* We have really seen it all!
* Our class has lived through and witnessed more than any other in recent history.
* It is our class that has literally adapted the most to CHANGE.
* So, let’s give a big round of applause to all the members of a very special senior class, which will always be remembered as the most RESILIENT!
