Throwback Thursday
JFK (1917-1963), MLK (1929-1968), and RFK (1925-1968)
I was in elementary school at the time, but I remember shortly after John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King, and Robert F. Kennedy were assassinated, The Bulletin included 8 x 10 color portraits of them in the Sunday edition of the newspaper. Even though the color has faded a little from years of exposure to the sun, my mom still has all three of them hanging in frames on her front porch to this day. They used to include portraits of presidents in the paper after they were elected too. The Bulletin was originally circulated in Philadelphia from 1847-1982 and later resurrected for a few years from 2004-2009.
