Laundry Day
A young couple moves into a new home. The next morning while they're eating breakfast, the wife sees her neighbor hanging the wash outside. She said to her husband, "That laundry is not very clean! She doesn't know how to wash correctly. Perhaps, she needs better laundry soap." Her husband looks on, remaining silent. But, every time the neighbor hungs her wash out to dry, the wife would make the same comments. A month later, the wife is surprised to see a nice clean wash hanging on her neighbor's line and says to her husband, "Look, she's finally learned how to wash correctly! I wonder who taught her how to do it? " The husband replied, "I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows... that might have something to do with it." And, so it is with life. What we see when watching others depends on the clarity of the window through which we looking.
