🕊 Farewell & Sleep Well...
A special tribute for a life well-lived (March 14, 1933 – November 3, 2024) by someone who gave so much to so many. He was here before my time and through my time. Over the course of his career you will see his hand in every musical genre and era.
You will also see his name when the credits roll for countless movies and television shows that feature some of his most memorable musical compositions in scores, soundtracks, and theme songs. I actually saw his name on the big and little screens many times before I saw the man behind the name.
And, he was a genius and master producer for spotting new talent and bringing "the best of the best" together in his studio many times over the years to give us some of the most unforgettable collaborative albums and songs of all time.
So well done, Quincy. You will definitely be forever missed and a tough act to follow. Sleep well and thank you for all the musical memories you left behind for us to cherish for generations to come. Sending prayers of comfort and healing for the family.
