Eagles Huddle Up For Autism
Huddle Up For Autism is coming back to Lincoln Field this year! If you recall, they had a scaled-down version of it that was kind of scattered at different points in the city last year because construction was going on at the Linc. But, it's returning to its original spot on Sunday, April 26th, 11:30am! Tickets for this free Autism Awareness Month event usually go fast, so you need to move quickly. The Philadephia 76ers are presenting 'Gospel Night' featuring a post-game concert with Marvin Sapp on Friday, February 27th, 7:00pm at the Wells Fargo Center. Our Grandson Is 9 Years Old Today!
Happy Birthday & We Love You!
It's hard to believe that this little guy is 9 years old now. He had a sleepover with us Saturday-Sunday so we could help him celebrate. Because he loves building things with K'Nex, he also likes watching 'EvanTube' on YouTube. He told us in September that he would like to have these 3 'Robo Creatures' that Evan talked about in a video, so we got them for him. After you assemble them individually, you can also combine all the pieces to make another creature called the 'Robo Combo'. He had a blast building each creature separately, as well as the combo, and he worked on all of them by himself. We love the sense of accomplishment he feels whenever he completes a K'Nex project, so it's always a worthwhile investment to us. We had a great time with him and we pray that God will continue to bless and watch over him in the days to come!

Quote of the Day
TODAY IS THE DAY... Let us honor and pay tribute to Dr. King through some form of service today. Even though we still have a long way to go and there is much more work that needs to be done before all of us are considered equal, he sacrificed so much so we can be where we are today. We are not where we need to be, but we're not where we used to be either. I was in the 6th grade on that fateful day when an assassin's bullet ended his life, so I remember it well. During a family reunion in 2011, me and the hubby visited the National Civil Rights Museum and Lorraine Motel in Memphis, TN where it all went down. It was a very sobering experience and one we will never forget!
