Praying for all of the families who were affected by this massive fire on 57th near Chestnut Streets earlier today. We were driving through the area on our way home while it was going on. The sky over the entire area was filled with smoke and all traffic was detoured while firefighters worked to put out the blaze.

Been There, Done That
On January 20, 2025 I will be doing what I always do on the third Monday of this month, which is MLK Day... honoring and remembering the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This year, January 20th is also Inauguration Day for #47 (formerly #45), so I choose to participate in the blackout and not watch the ceremony...

* WHEN: From 10:00AM Sunday to 1:00AM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS: Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Temperatures are expected to fall into the teens Sunday night and remain below freezing for several days. As a result, icy and slippery conditions may persist even after precipitation has ended.
