Sylvester Stewart aka Sly Stone (March 15, 1943 – June 9, 2025). Condolences and prayers going up for the family of the man who let me know when I was 12yo that "Everybody Is A Star." I never forgot it or how it made me feel. Sly & The Family Stone did lots of songs that made me think and moved me, but that one just holds a special place in my heart.
