🩺 Can You Believe It's Been 15 Years?
Did you know that today, March 23rd, is the 15th Anniversary of the "Affordable Care Act" -- not Obamacare, as the GOP chose to mislead the American people and call it? They have tried to do away with it over the years to no avail, and far too many Americans who actually have it and benefit from it every day of their lives, have yet to give President Obama credit and/or thank him for it. Macy's Department Store is closing today, so after 69 years the Christmas Light Show will be no more. Christmas 2024 was its last run because the building has been sold and the new owners want to use it for living, office, and retail spaces. I'm glad my daughter and grandchildren had a chance to see it too. The show began its run in 1956 (2 years before I was born) and would have been 70 years old in 2026. It was a Philadelphia tradition that will be missed by generations of people who are old enough to remember.
