I knew this was going to happen sooner or later, but I am glad Alex Haley is NOT here to see it. The man spent part of his childhood in Tennessee and returned there to live during the latter years of his life, where he was honored with a large statue in Knoxville Morningside Park as their most famous author. #JSMH
