Discussions are underway as Philadelphia is considering moving the statue of Joe Frazier, located outside Xfinity Live in South Philadelphia, to the high-traffic area at the base of the Art Museum steps in 2026. The proposed move is part of a plan to honor a real-life Philadelphia boxing hero in a prominent location.
The original Rocky Balboa statue will be moved to the top of the Art Museum steps following a temporary exhibition inside the museum. The move follows the decision to keep the Rocky statue in Philadelphia rather than returning it to Sylvester Stallone.
