According to SmartBiz U.S. Statistics & Growth data released this year... there were 134,567 employer businesses with black owners before the pandemic and 3,115,000 non-employer businesses with black owners; 1.2 million self-employed black entrepeneurs; 28% increase in black business from pre-pandemic to Q3 (third quarter) of 2021.
