American Football League Anthology
Al Denson who was born January 2, 1942 in Jacksonville, Florida. Denson attended Stanton High School in Jacksonville before going on to play collegiately at Florida A&M University. In 1964, Denson was drafted by the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles in the sixth round of the NFL Draft and by the AFL’s Denver Broncos in the sixth round of the AFL Draft. Denson would opt to join the Broncos and play in the AFL.
In his first three seasons in the AFL, Al Denson struggled as did the Denver Broncos. However, Denson broke out in 1967 with his first AFL All-Star Game selection as he led the league in touchdown receptions. He would also finish in the top ten in receptions and receiving yards that same year. After playing in just eight games in 1968, Denson had another outstanding season that would end in a second AFL All-Star Game selection in 1969.
After the AFL-NFL Merger, Al Denson would play one more season for the Denver Broncos in 1970 before joining the Minnesota Vikings in 1971. After appearing in just seven games for the Vikings, Denson retired.

Retired Chief Petty Officer David Goggin
David Goggin is the only person to ever complete US Army Ranger School, US Air Force Tactical Control Party Training, and US Navy Seal Training. Individually, each of these training programs are nearly impossible to complete.
He not only completed the training, but served honorably, completing numerous combat missions in each capacity. David Goggins is an American hero and we may never know the true extent of all he has done for our country. He is a Guinness World Record holder and widely regarded as “the baddest man on the planet”.
We salute you!!!

π Better Late Than Never
We're back home and I just went to the website to read the NBC story, which began in 1997... so I already know that we are w-a-y late in discovering these absolutely delicious sweet treats. Me and the hubby have driven by the store many times over the years and I would always say, one of these days I wanna stop in there and get one of those bundt cakes. Well, we finally did it on a whim last week and we went back for "seconds" today. The cakes are incredibly moist and they just melt in your mouth. Unfortunately, we shouldn't eat stuff like this on the regular anymore, so this will have to be IT for a while. Our only regret is that we waited so long to stop and get them.

⏰ Meme of the Day
It has been said that Friday is the golden child of the weekdays, the super hero of the workweek, and the welcome wagon to the weekend. I don't know who said it, but I would have to agree! #TGIF

π€ Things That Make You Go Hmmm...
All is fair in political warfare and I don't know the origin or originator of this photo. I can tell you it was in my Facebook newsfeed and there is no way to know if the page that posted it actually created it. But, I couldn't resist the urge to repost it along with the following question for Marjorie Taylor Greene and her like-minded cohorts. So, how does it feel to be depicted as a primate when you know you are a human being? Finally, the shoe is on the other foot and it's long overdue!
