🕊 Happy Heavenly 64th Anniversary

Today marks the 1st anniversary of mom's passing. Although it still seems like only yesterday at times, I believe the Lord also called her home on this special day to be with dad because it was their 63rd anniversary. He was called home 18 years before her, so I know that he was missing her presence. I'm sure it was not a coincidence and the Lord decided to reunite them in His perfect timing. Both of you will always be in my heart, it goes without saying that I miss you, and I love you very much. Until we meet again, rest peacefully in paradise with the One who originally joined you together in 1957, and again for all eternity in 2020...

🙏🏾 Prayers Going Up For Darnella Frazier & Family

Darnella, the teenager who filmed George Floyd’s murder and recently won an honorary Pulitzer Prize, shared on Facebook Tuesday evening (yesterday) that her uncle Leneal Lamont Frazier was killed when the Minneapolis Police Department crashed into his vehicle during the pursuit of a carjacking and robbery suspect. He was merely an innocent bystander in his car during the chase, but it occurred in a residential area. He was taken to the hospital and later died from his injuries. The suspect is still at-large. 

As usual, some people are giving her a hard time for merely expressing her emotions about this tragedy and the loss of her uncle. My heart goes out to this young lady because she has been through so much. Please take a minute and visit her FB page to offer your condolences, prayers, and support for her and the family. Today, the family went to Knoebels in Elysburg, PA. We had a great time and the grands did as well. Charlie went on his first road trip with us and enjoyed himself too. The last time our family went to Knoebels was the summer of 2008. My grandson was only 2 years old, and my two granddaughters weren't even here yet. 

It's hard to believe that was 13 years ago, but we had a blast and made a promise to return one day. In addition to July 4th, Knoebels also celebrated their 95th anniversary. Wow! None of us knew they were here all those years. We hope you and your family are having a blessed, happy, and safe weekend!

⏳ #TBT My Left Foot

Remembering when I missed a step on my way down the stairs in my house and fractured a bone in my left foot in December 2019. The excrutiating post-surgery pain that was worst than child birth to me; the weeks I had to wear an orthopedic boot in the snow; trying to use a walker while hopping around on my one good foot; going up and down the stairs on my backside; grocery shopping in the scooter and crashing into stuff; and the day when the doc finally said I had healed enough to wear a shoe again. I've had surgery before, but never for anything broken. But, GOD is good and I pray to never break anything again!
