Black History Is American History
My father had a worn copy of a Green Book. He didn't tell me what it was used for and I only remember seeing it once or twice in his old Buick in the early '60s when I was 5 or 6 years old. I'm not sure what became of it and over time, I forgot about it. I eventually found out what it was used for on my own, after I became an adult, and I watched this documentary last night on the Smithsonian Channel. It's an important chapter in history regarding racism in this country.

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Green Book on the Oscar win for Best Picture, and to Mahershala Ali for winning Best Supporting Actor. Also, congrats to Regina King, Best Supporting Actress for If Beale Street Could Talk, and Spike Lee, Best Adapted Screenplay for BlacKKKlansman, on their Oscar wins. Black Panther also won three Oscars for Best Costume Design, Best Original Score, and Best Production! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Eagles Huddle Up @ The Linc!
This event, formerly called Huddle Up For Autism, will be held on Sunday, April 7th, 11:30am-3:00pm @ Lincoln Field. General ticket sales will take place on a first come-first serve basis Wednesday, February 20th at 10:00am and they usually go fast! The cost is $5.00/person (kids too) and there is a 6-ticket limit per family. HUWEAC is a fun-filled day designed especially for kids and teens on the autism spectrum and their families. It includes on-field activities, locker room tours, sensory activities, and special appearances by Philadelphia Eagles football players, cheerleaders, and SWOOP. Free parking will be available and all funds raised for HUWEAC directly support autism research and care at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Super Bowl Dilemma
My good friend has 2 box seat tickets for the 2019 SUPER BOWL. She paid $3K for each ticket, but she didn’t know when she bought them last year that the game would be on the same day as her wedding. If you're interested, she's looking for someone to take her place at Bethel Baptist Church in Brooklyn at 3:00pm. His name is Kevin, he’s 6’1”, roughly 200 lbs, and a wonderful person.
